UPDATE: Congratulations to Kayla Taylor of Pittsburgh, PA and Nate Cohen of Columbus, OH. Their names were listed first on a shuffle by Random.org and they each won a free These Pistons Give Life shirt of their choice! Thanks for all the suggestions.
Happy New Year, everyone!
The frenzy of the holidays has really mellowed out. Everyone is getting back into their daily grind, focusing on personal things they want to change this year and reflecting on the year that was 2010. No matter whether you share a certain religion with your family, celebrate different holidays or simply engage in traditions that have been part of your life for as long as you can remember the end of a year really brings many people together to celebrate life. Amazing charitable efforts happen all over town. Toys for Tots, Food Drives, Winter clothing drives all jump into full swing to help those who have trouble finding the same joy out of the cold winter season. The efforts of volunteers should be applauded as they truly are some of the many “Pistons” that give “Life” to those in need. The holiday seasons are full of “Pistons” from family time together, shared dinners, and even just kind wishes from people passing by. Many people have trouble getting the same “Life” out of these things. We hope to help change that.
It was a big year for us. Releasing the Spring line in May and then more designs later in the year took a lot of time and planning. We are so excited to have become friends with The Call to Serve and to be able to provide them with shirts for their Summer 2010 Eastern US Adventure Volunteering trip. We are still a small seed that will continue to grow and we can’t wait to release more of our ideas and work with more charities and artists in the near future. Our goal this year is to expand to a full roster of charities. Each new design may have it’s own primary charity and we will open up seasonal promotions on sales to help other charities.
We are currently taking suggestions from friends and fans on our facebook page. Let us know what kinds of things you’d like to see from TPGL in 2011. New designs for men and women? A particular charity? More color varieties on the same designs? Let us know by Friday, January 7th at 5PM and you could be one of 2 winners of a free TPGL T-shirt of your choosing!
